He d. in Sheffield, 26 Nov. 1770. He was one of the first four settlers west of the Housatonic; she m. (2) 22 Jan. 1783, Capt. Stephen Dewey of Sheffield; she d. in Sheffield, 11 Sept., 1812, aged 77. ^[1]
