AMOS KELLOGG {740} <1.2b.3a.4f.5c.6d.7c.8c.9a>, son of Ebenezer {242} <1.2b.3a.4f.5c.6d.7c.8c>, b. in Hadley, Mass., 1 Oct. 1749; m. in South Hadley, Mass., 1 June 1787, Ruth Church {756}, b. in South Hadley, Mass., 15 Nov. 1757, dau. of Benjamin Church, b. 26 Dec. 1709 in Hadley, and Ruth Kellogg {243} <1.2b.3a.4f.5c.6d.7c.8d>, b. 18 Jan. 1717 in Hadley.

He d. 20 Feb. 1834 in South Hadley, Mass; she d. there 9 July 1842.

He was a farmer; res. in South Hadley. He was a revolutionary soldier, a Private in Capt. Montague's Co., Col. Woodbridge's Reg., 20 Apr., 1775, on the Lexington Alarm, served thirty-two days; and in Capt. Cook's Co., Col. Woodbridge's Reg., 17 Aug. to 29 Nov. 1779.

Moses Chapin, b. 11 July 1762 in Springfield, Mass., and Kezia Chapin, b. 23 July 1766 in Springfield; he prob. continued operating his father's farm, d. 18 May 1847 in South Hadley, Mass.; she d. 30 Mar. 1861 in Hadley; had ten children.
