EBENEZER KELLOGG {242} <1.2b.3a.4f.5c.6d.7c.8c>, son of Joseph {60} <1.2b.3a.4f.5c.6d.7c>, b. in South Hadley, 26 Dec. 1715; m. 15 Dec. 1748 prob. in South Hadley, (from Hopkins) Mrs. Sarah Snow, widow of Josiah Snow, of Norwich, Conn. and South Hadley. It is possible that Sarah Snow is instead the dau. of Josiah Snow (and is not a widow), b. 27 Jan. 1699 in Harwich, Mass. (and may have d. Feb. 1760 in South Hadley), and Sarah Bellows, b., 20 Mar. 1707 in Mendon, Mass., and was b. 2 May 1729 in Lebanon, Conn.
Res. in South Hadley. His name appears in Muster Roll of Col Dwight's Reg. on the western frontier, Aug. 11 to 21, 1748. In 1859, Ebenezer's great grandson, Amos, was living on homestead.
Both his and her deaths are unknown, but it is highly unlikely that he was the Ebenezer Kellogg who d. 22 Nov. 1776 at Fort Ticonderoga, as he would have then been 61 years old. That Ebenezer Kellogg was almost certainly Ensign Ebenezer Kellogg {467} <1.2b.3a.4f.5c.6k.7b.8c>, b. 1722, son of Capt. Ebenezer {129} of Amherst, Mass.
