He was a weaver; res. in South Hadley; she d. 28 Jan. 1789 in Hadley. In 1788, several years after his death, his son, John, was appointed administrator of his estate.

There being no record of any Silence Kellogg in South Hadley at this time, it is possible that there was an error in the name, either in the intention of marriage or the record of birth.
