Her early life was spent in Sheffield, with her two paternal aunts, Abigail Kellogg {1293} <1.2b.3a.4f.5c.6j.7i.8b.9d> and Ruth Church (probably Abigail’s sister, Ruth Clark {1294} <1.2b.3a.4f.5c.6j.7i.8b.9e>, both daughters of Enos {426} <1.2b.3a.4f.5c.6j.7i.8b>).
He was a merchant in Sheffield.
