Y., 15 Oct. 1853, John Townsend Miller, b. 25 June 1834, in Minerva, son of Richard Miller, b. 24 Mar. 1780, and Deborah Pierce, b. 23 Dec. 1796.

He d. in Minerva, prob. between 1870 and 1875;[There appears to be a second John T. or John F. Miller of about the same age in Minerva, who d. in 1899; however his spouse's name does not seem to be Luena on the 1875 N. Y. census, and in 1875 Luena is in Elizabethtown describing herself as widowed. Also, some family trees list Henry and Eliza Lee as children of John Townsend and Luena Rebekah: that is highly unlikely as there is no evidence they ever left N. Y., and no census lists these two children.]; she res. in Elizabethtown after his death, where she was a succesful milliner and dressmaker. She d. 20 Oct. 1917 in Elizabethtown.

He was a farmer, a Baptist and a Republican; was a private in Co. C, Ninety­third Reg., New York Volunteer Infantry; enlisted 27 Sept. 1861; was discharged June 1865.

Ella Mary (or Mary Ellena) Miller {14906} <1.2b.3a.4f.5c.6j.7a.8d.9e.10e.11d.12a>, b. in Minerva, 8 Aug. 1856; m. in Elizabethtown, 24 Nov. 1875, Mason Harry Partridge, son of Adolphus Ruggles Partridge and Elizabeth Nichols, b. 16 July 1853; res. in New York City and worked forty-nine years the sexton of Grace Protestant Episcopal Church at Broadway and 10th St.; she d. in New York, N. Y. 1 Oct. 1927, he d. there 22 Dec. 1934; had four children.
