(2) in San Francisco, Cal., 5 Jan. 1884, Mrs. Alice Eloise (Cheeney) Tuttle, dau. of Aaron Cheeney and Sarah Jameson; he d. 30 June 1901; was in the railroad business; res. in San Francisco; had one child, Edna Sarah, who was b. in Rochester, Feb. 1872, and d. there, Apr., same year; he was adopted by his uncle, Chester A. Kellogg, and legally (6 Sept. 1872) took the name of John G. Kellogg.
