Y., Otis Comstock, son of David Comstock and Rebecca Gramman, b. 30 Aug. 1770 in Adams, Mass.; she d. 30 Mar. 1813, but possibly earlier (because Rachel Smith Comstock (1811-1888) is likely a dau. of wife (2) Amy Smith), in Farmington; had seven children; he m. Elijah Treman <1.2b.3a.4f.5c.6j.7a.8b.9b.10c>, b. 1777. prob. in Egremont, Mass.; almost no evidence exists for this person; there is an Elijah Tremain, b. 1 Feb. 1769 in Westfield, Mass. but his parents are written in the Town Records as Simson and Elle Treman, or in some trees as Nathaniel Tremain and Sarah Kellogg; that Elijah m. 1789, in Canandaigua, N. John Treman, Jr. <1.2b.3a.4f.5c.6j.7a.8b.9b.10d>, b. abt. 1775 or 1779, prob. in Egremont, Mass.; was in Canandaigua with his father in 1803 based on tax documents; thus it is unlikely he was in Pennsylvania fathering many children as "John Tremains" thus any other facts in trees concerning John Jr. can be more likely assocated with John Tremains of Penn.

Lucina Treman <1.2b.3a.4f.5c.6j.7a.8b.9b.10g>, prob. b. abt. 1787 in Canandaigua, N. Y.; an alternative b. of abt. 1811 in Canandaigua, N. Y. is unlikely: Patience would have been abt. 62 years old; m., prob. before 1806, Jonathon Beebe, son of Jonathon Beebe and Azubah Warner, b. 23 June 1770 in Waterbury, Conn.; he and she both prob. d. 1845-1846; had two children.
