He d. 23 Sep. 1836 in Berlin, Conn. from injuries received by a fall from his carriage house.
He was a farmer in Berlin and Newington, Conn; was a poor boy, but became the wealthiest man in that part of the State.

Chauncey Wright, b. 1788, prob. son of Joseph and Catherine Wright; he was a silversmith in Middletown, Conn.; he d. 4 Mar. 1868; she d. Dec. 1871 in Conn.; while Hopkins states that they had several children, no evidence can be found, except that there is a second Chauncey Wright living in the Hartford area, who also married an Ellzabeth (Crittenden in this case) and who did have had seven children.
