He was a farmer; probably served in the revolutionary war as Sgt. in Capt. Pomeroy's Co., from 3 Aug. to 18 Sep. 1778. He was graduated from Yale College in 1766; he and his wife owned the covenant in Newington, 15 Apr. 1770.
