She d. 7 Sep. 1833 in Bernardston, Mass.

He was a blacksmith; rem. to Shelburne when 16 years of age, and learned his trade from Maj. Nash; was a representative to the General Court in 1808. From the public prints of the day we read "His character was reputable and his life useful. In his death the church lost a cordial friend, and the town, a valuable inhabitant".
